Popcorn Fundraiser

As we wrap up one season, we need to turn our attention to our next season. Coming shortly will be our first fundraiser of the 2025-2026 season - Double Good Gourmet Popcorn!

This fundraiser is an easy and profitable way to raise dues for the season - we will receive 50% of all money raised from the sale of popcorn, and then that amount will be broken down into a split of 70% directly into the student's account and 30% into the general band fund. The average amount each student can raise is over $300 in less than a week!

Popcorn sales began on Monday, May 5th, at 7:00pm and will end on Friday, May 9th, at 7:00pm. 

All you or your student need to do now is:

1. Download the Double Good app on the Google Play Store or Apple Store

2. Click Get Started then confirm your phone number and email address (confirmation texts/emails may take 1-2 minutes to arrive), and student name

4. Click Enter an Event Code, enter the code CRQKCL, then click Join Event

5. Add a profile pic (required), then other optional profile information like a fundraising goal and a blurb about the student then click Create My Pop-Up Store

Send your personal page link to friends and family via text or email, and send reminders throughout the week to get orders!

It's that simple! The popcorn is delicious, affordable, and ships straight to the buyer! You can watch your sales grow on the app in real-time. And, our highest three student sellers will win some awesome prizes, so let's get it poppin'!

Parents’ Night Out

Since this is my last week as COO, I want to thank you all for a wonderful year.  I want to thank all the pit crew volunteers for their hard work and dedication to make last season a success.  A big thank you to Mr. Tingle, and all the Lanier staff who helped us coordinate a very "prop-heavy" show.  Thank you to all the board members for hearing me out and working so hard to make sure everything was in tip-top shape every week for the last year.  And lastly to the marchers, and their parents, who without their dedication and drive, we wouldn't be able to help or see such awe-inspiring talent grow and flourish.  I will be part of the pit crew again next year, but I welcome Ryan Butts as the new COO and know he'll step up and knock all the responsibilities of this position out of the park.  I can't wait to see what amazing talent and hard work will come from the marchers this upcoming year!  GO LONGHORN MARCHING BAND!!!
