Week one of band camp is in the books! Week two is on its way. Remember to eat a healthy meal before camp! Hydrate! Replace electrolytes. Wear sunscreen, hats and comfortable clothes!

Parent Meeting

Another phenomenal build day is in the books! We'd love to see more people out there, especially those who don't mind picking up a paint brush or have that artistic eye! Regardless, come on out for an hour, or two, or the whole time. This past weekend we were able to make some serious headway with the column props, pretty much finish building the ramp and platform, and we're ready to start building these coral reefs.  

We are adding an additional build day this Saturday the 3rd to all of those that want to help or can help. We'll start cutting wood and assembling frames for the coral reefs. If that big yellow orb in the sky offends you, I highly suggest joining the decorating team as they will be working up at the stadium. You won't be out of the heat and humidity, but you'll have cover from the sun. 

Thursday, August 1st - we're asking for some help from band parents, we need 6 people to help move instruments and equipment in the band room between the hours of 6:30pm and 8:30pm. There will be volunteer positions open on BoosterHub. The more hands, the quicker we can get done!

Tuesday is the last day to turn in shoes! Get those last minute donations in to help us get to our goal!

Telethon

AMAZING JOB to all the students who have already participated in the telethon fundraiser! You have raised over $21,000 for your band!

Want a chance to win? The telethon goes on for 14 days, so there is still time! We will be giving out prized throughout the campain and the student who raises the most overall will win CUSTOM SNEAKERS from SneakerDoodle.co! 

We’ve given you lots of ways to request donations:

1. Print the attached flyer, take it to work, pass it out to friends, put it up at your favorite cafe, whatever works!
2. Share the posts from Facebook and Instagram (make sure you are following us!)

Here are a Telethon FAQs:

1. Can I still add contacts? Yes! You can add contacts until the fundraiser is over in two weeks. 
2. When will I see the funds? This will depend on when we receive the funds from FanPledge and when our treasurer is able to apply credits. We will update you as we have more information.
3. Do I have to make a donation to leave a message? Yes, a donation is required to leave a message on the page.
4. What if I have "DNR" or Did Not Reply pledges? Fan Pledge will contact them weekly until the end of our campaign to settle the account.
5. Can I share my page on social media? Yes, there is a share button at the top of the donation page, or you can share from our our social media.
6. Who do I contact for support? Geneva is the contact for this fundraise

Sign up for Kroger's Community Rewards program! Visit Kroger's website to sign up. Search for Lanier Band Booster Association. 4% of your weekly Kroger spend on groceries will be donated to the band automatically!
