SPIRIT NIGHT!

Join us for Lanier High School Band Spirit Night at Game Changer Fun Center, Lake Lanier Islands on Sunday, February 2, 2025, from 3pm-7pm. Mention the band for free admission, bowling, and a $10 game card. Plus, 15% of profits support the band!

LGPE - Large Group Performance Evaluation

Your students (with the exception of Guard students who do not play instruments) are getting ready for Large Group Performance Evaluation (LGPE)! LGPE is a Georgia Music Educators Association’s (GMEA) evaluation of the high school bands in each district. Gwinnett is considered district 13. All band students in Gwinnett will perform at Buford High School on March 11 or 12. Lanier’s Concert Band will perform on March 11 at 5:45 PM, Symphonic Band will perform on March 12 at 6:30 PM, and Symphonic Winds will perform on March 12 at 8:30 PM. Family and friends are welcome to attend to watch the performances. 

We will provide more information about travel/transportation as the date gets closer. Until then, please encourage your child to attend the mandatory rehearsals and to practice at home.
