Reminder; drop off and pick up is always in the upper parking lot.  There are many different activities that occur throughout the year, and the school entrance should remain clear to keep the students safe.

Indoor Percussion Updates!

Indoor Percussion auditions continue on November 18th at 2:30 PM in the band room.

You can help Lanier High School Indoor Percussion meet our fundraising goal!  Now through December 25th, 20% of every Honeybaked Ham gift card purchased through this link: Fundraising Lanier High School Indoor Percussion goes to support the Indoor Percussion program!  Your gift card can then be used to purchase your holiday ham or turkey!

Longhorn Jazz!

From Mr. Robinson:  For students interested in joining Longhorn Jazz, we will be having interest meetings on Monday, November 17th from 2:30pm - 4:00pm. These interest meetings will go over the audition material, audition process, and our Spring 2026 rehearsal and performance schedule. All winds and percussion are invited to join Longhorn Jazz this year, so if you are interested in learning the language of jazz and improvisation, I hope to see you at the interest meetings! If you have any questions before our meetings, please see Mr. Robinson in room 100A next to the media center, or email melvin.robinson@gcpsk12.org. 

9th-11th Grade Parent Reception - November 18th!

Join the Lanier Band Directors for a 9th - 11th Grade Parent Reception on November 18th from 5:30-6:30 PM.  We will host a parent reception at Lanier High School with light refreshments for ALL 9th-11th grade parents (including concert-only students)!  We want to meet you, get to know you, and foster a fun community for all of our band families.  There will be an open board meeting following the reception for those who would like to attend!
