🎶 What an incredible start to the season! Day 1 Of Band Camp is in the books. Today was filled with energy, determination, and plenty of hard work as our students kicked off band camp. We're so proud of the dedication, positive attitudes, and teamwork already on display. Our students are proving what (IM)POSSIBLE things they can do with hard work, commitment, and a belief in what they can achieve together. This is just the beginning, and we can't wait to watch all of their hard work come together as the show takes shape over the coming weeks. The journey has officially begun, and the best is yet to come!
👀IN CASE YOU MISSED IT, students need to come prepared everyday to put in the work and have fun, too! Attached is the band camp daily activity schedule. Here are some important reminders:
- Remaining Marchers should be preparing for Wednesday’s Full Marcher Band Camp Kick Off.
- Full Marcher Band Camp Day, Wednesday July 15th, a parent or guardian must accompany their Marcher inside for check-in.
- Marchers who completed the check in today, Monday July 13th, do NOT need a parent to accompany them inside on Wednesday.
- Remaining Marchers, please check Rank One. If you’re green you're good to go. If not, you still have action items to complete by Wednesday.
- Student Reminders:
- Eat a healthy, complex carb - protein filled breakfast
- Avoid sugary drinks and snacks that cause your system to crash early
- Bring a healthy lunch & snack
- Water bottle (Filled with ice water)
- Avoid wearing long pants and dark colors, it gets hot on the drill lot
- Athletic shoes (No sandals, crocs, or boots)
- Hat and sunglasses
- Apply sunscreen before leaving home and bring extra to reapply
🚨It is IMPORTANT to remember that drop-off AND pick-up is in the upper parking lot. Parents, please do not move the barricades that are in place. They have been placed there to direct traffic where you need to go. This rule is not to inconvenience you. It is there to keep our students and staff safe as the band entrance is a high traffic area.
👉If you’re not sure what to expect at band camp, check out the Band Camp Prep Guide.
😍 Are you ready to be WOW’ed? The LMB Colorguard is showing everyone what hard work and dedication looks like. They have been working hard all summer and wrapped up a 3 day intensive Guard Camp prior to day 1 of band camp. They have some new tricks and techniques they will bring to the drill this year. They wrapped up their mini-camp with the 2026 uniform reveal, and we are so excited. We can’t wait to see the guard on the field! The (IM)POSSIBLE season of 2026 is officially underway.
