Sports Physicals Required!
Lanier High School requires all student athletes (this includes marching band) to sign consent forms and upload physicals through RankOne.com. Physicals must be completed and uploaded into RankOne before band camp! Don’t wait until the last minute. Get them in as soon as possible.
Here are the steps to complete:
- To sign consents and upload the physicals, visit www.rankone.com/content/ or by visiting the Athletics page on the Lanier High School website.
- If visiting Rank One, click "Parents Click Here" > Forms > Georgia > Gwinnett County Schools. Then review the instructions and click Proceed to Online Forms.
- If visiting the Lanier High School website, scroll down the page, on the right side click the link to print the physical form.
- Print and take this form to your doctor’s office or a clinic like Kroger's Little Clinic.
- Once completed, you will upload the form to RankOne and the school will approve.

This year we will be providing meals for our marchers, staff and volunteers. Please take a moment to visit the below SignUp Genius for details concerning the donation schedules and needs for meals during camp.
Band Camp Meals Details and Sign Ups
We are still in need of families to donate packs of water/sports drinks/snacks for camp days. Families will need to donate at least 2 packs: one water plus either sports drinks or snacks. Please bring all donations by the first day of band camp (July 14)
Senior Band Photos!
Senior Band Photos will be taken on July 25th. Please check your inbox for a Senior photo specific email sent last week containing all the details for picture day.

Pit Crew Build Day!
We need people to join the pit crew. If anyone is interested in Pit Crew or in the Build Crew they can email me at Ryan.P.Butts@gmail.com.
Our next props build day is scheduled for Saturday, July 12th at 9:00 AM.
Percussion Parent “Meet N Chat”!
Percussion Parents mark your calendars. Our new Percussion Director, Celeena Corbin would like to have a "meet n chat" with percussion parents on Friday evening July 11th, 6:30 pm at Indio Brewing in Sugar Hill. This will be informal and similar to our monthly Parent's Night Out evenings. Come meet Ms Corbin, ask your questions and welcome her to the family.
Percussion Parents, use the order form to secure your percussion parent jersey. Our jerseys will be the same design as the kids' but will say Percussion Parent on the back. Add your kid's graduation year or leave it blank. Please order ASAP. Next order won't happen until Indoor Percussion season. Percussion Parent Order Form

Spirit Night at Tacos & Tequilas!
Family and friends join us for our next Spirit Night at Tacos & Tequilas, Mall of GA location on July 15 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm! The band earns 10% of all sales! We look forward to seeing you all there!
Parents’ Night Out!
Join us for our next Parents’ Night Out on July 19 at 6:30 pm by Indio Brewery in Downtown Sugar Hill! Parents’ Night Out is a great way to meet fellow parents with kids in the Lanier Band program and make new friends! This is a casual, drop in type of event where everyone comes as they are and spends time with friends. 9th Grade parents, this is a great way to meet other parents with students in the Marching Band. We look forward to seeing you all there!
Meals to Missions Fundraiser
Don't forget about our Meals to Missions fundraiser! We are just past $12,500, but we will need the support of the entire community to reach our goal of $80,000! Parents and students alike, please reach out to your neighbors, coworkers, church, and community contacts, as well as social media, to spread the word. Shout out to our top 5 fundraising students as of today - Anneliese S, Emma K, Robert B, Kevin C, and Chris M! We are only a few dollars ahead of the football team, let's keep the friendly competition going to stay on top!
Our next big in-person event will be our Meals to Missions Meal Packing Party, hosted during Band Camp on 7/17 from 12pm-3pm. Band and Football students will come together with friends, parents, staff, community leaders and more to pack 15,000 meals to send to hungry families across the Southeast. We need all hands on deck! There are volunteer slots on the BoosterHub calendar if you are available to come support our efforts to give back to those less fortunate. Own a Part of Lanier History
We are excited to offer current marchers and alums the opportunity to own a part of Lanier Marching Band history! Old marching jackets will be sold for $15 through July 19th. They will be bagged by name and can be picked up during any band camp event July 21st-July 25th. Sizes will be given at random. We are in search of a chest freezer for our Concessions area. Our current freezer has unfortunately died and must be replaced prior to the start of the new season.
