Marching Band Camp (All Sections)

Band Camp Reminders!

Band Camp 2025 is underway!  We had a great first day of band camp!  Check out the full  Band Camp Schedule can be viewed online.  Here are a few reminders to keep in mind over the next two weeks.

  • Marchers should be in their designated location ready to start each day by 9:00 am.
  • Please make sure Marchers eat a good breakfast, dress comfortably, wear sunscreen, a hat, bring water, lunch, and a snack! (Dinner will be served on long days.)
  • If you would like to discuss payment options, you can complete a financial aid document.
  • Drop off and Pick up occurs in the upper parking lot.  Do not pull down to the band room entrance,  you will be asked to move your vehicle. This is to ensure the safety of our Marchers.
  • Students should plan to stay on campus during band camp hours.  They can have lunch delivered to them if they choose, but they will not be allowed to leave during the lunch break.
  • We still have many volunteer opportunities in BoosterHub for parents to be involved.  Please check them out and if available, please consider volunteering.
  • Don’t forget about our Meals to Missions fundraiser during band camp. Fundraising helps raise funds to pay dues and provide continual support to the program.  
  • Also, be sure to check out RaiseRight and Arena fundraising options that are ongoing throughout the year.



Band Camp Meals!


We plan to feed the Marchers and staff on all long days of camp.  However, we do have some needs that we are asking parents to help us fill for those meals.  If you have not already, visit our SignUp Genius for Band Camp Meals and sign up on your child’s class day to donate an item.Band Camp is one week away!


We are still in need of families to donate packs of water/sports drinks/snacks for camp days.  Families will need to donate at least 2 packs: one water plus either sports drinks or snacks.  Please bring all donations by the first day of band camp (July 14)

Spirit Night at Tacos & Tequilas!

After band camp, travel on over to Tacos & Tequilas, Mall of GA location to enjoy time with family and friends on our next Spirit Night on July 15 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm!   The band earns 10% of all sales!  We look forward to seeing you all there!  


Parents’ Night Out!

Join us for our next Parents’ Night Out on July 19 at 6:30 pm by Indio Brewery in Downtown Sugar Hill!  Parents’ Night Out is a great way to meet fellow parents with kids in the Lanier Band program and make new friends!  This is a casual, drop in type of  event where everyone comes as they are and spends time with friends.  9th Grade parents, this is a great way to meet other parents with students in the Marching Band.   We look forward to seeing you all there!


Meals to Missions Fundraiser

Don't forget about our Meals to Missions fundraiser! We are just past $12,500, but we will need the support of the entire community to reach our goal of $80,000! Parents and students alike, please reach out to your neighbors, coworkers, church, and community contacts, as well as social media, to spread the word.  Shout out to our top 5 fundraising students as of today - Anneliese S, Emma K, Kevin C, Robert B, and Braydon B! We are only a few dollars ahead of the football team, let's keep the friendly competition going to stay on top! 


Our next big in-person event will be our Meals to Missions Meal Packing Party, hosted during Band Camp on 7/17 from 12pm-3pm. Band and Football students will come together with friends, parents, staff, community leaders and more to pack 15,000 meals to send to hungry families across the Southeast. We need all hands on deck! There are volunteer slots on the BoosterHub calendar if you are available to come support our efforts to give back to those less fortunate. Own a Part of Lanier History

We are excited to offer current marchers and alums the opportunity to own a part of Lanier Marching Band history!  Old marching jackets will be sold for $15 through July 19th.  They will be bagged by name and can be picked up during any band camp event July 21st-July 25th.  Sizes will be given at random.  Purchases can be made through the BoosterHub store.   https://lanierband.boosterhub.com/store/5335/26931
